U.S. Early Action/Decision Report
December 17, 2009
This year, a record 34 terminale students applied early to 16 U.S. colleges. Among this group, 21 students were admitted and 9 were deferred to the regular admissions pool.
Students were admitted to Babson (2), Barnard (3), Brown, Columbia, Haverford, Reed, Sarah Lawrence, Stanford (2), Swarthmore, Tufts, University of Pennsylvania (3, including 2 to the Huntsman program), Wellesley, Wesleyan, and Yale (2). These admission results—our best ever—are truly exceptional given the highly selective pool of colleges involved and the record number of worldwide applications they have received. Congratulations to our students for their hard work and commitment, to their parents and teachers for their inspiration and enthusiasm, and to our College Counseling team for its judicious advice and unfailing support throughout this exciting journey.
